The Construction of the US$50 million 650 Rural Health Posts Derailed!
The US$50 million project aimed at construction of 650 health posts countrywide has suffered major set backs and needs an additional US$12 million to proceed and complete the remaining works. Only about half of the total planned health posts have been completed
Giving a ministerial statement in Parliament, Minister of Health, Dr. Chitalu Chilufya stated that only 327 structures out of the planned total of 650 health posts have been completed countrywide.
